Pacifica was started by parent initiative and is a parent participation school. Parents working along with teachers and students in the classroom at all grade levels is at the heart of our school.
Parent participation, input and governance are essential ingredients to the functioning of Pacifica. Parent involvement is an exciting opportunity for parents to participate in the life of the school in a way that is personally enriching and beneficial to our entire community.
Pacifica offers more than a token PTA opportunity for parents. At Pacifica, parents are required to actively support the classroom, volunteer for our inter-grade Explorations Program, govern our school and participate in shaping Pacifica’s direction and destiny.
